Greenport Jam, May 08′

Wow, I forgot how good the Long Island scene was. Yesterday’s Greenport jam was so much fun. The turnout wasn’t huge, but all of the really cool locals showed up. Definitely quality over quantity.

So much crazy stuff went down — Everyone’s been getting so good! I was only able to capture a tiny part of the craziness on photo since I was having so much fun riding.

Thanks to Nick for setting up the Jam. I can’t wait for the next one.

Here’s some photo’s, mostly from the hip sesh.

Unloading Rich Tobin’s Camera

Rich sent me a bunch of photo’s he had on his camera. There’s some Photo’s from our woodward trip, greenport skatepark, huntington skatepark, and some random street spots. Enjoy.

Bunnyhop Faggery and Salad Bars

I took my grindbox apart the other day, since it was ready to collapse on itself. So with some extra wood from the box lying around, I threw together a bunny-hop bar.  The responses I got when I told people I was building a bunny-hop bar, were pretty ridiculous -  “Kris - A bunnyhop bar, you fag!”  “Darryl - Wow Joan, I didn’t know you were into that sort of thing”.

Things didn’t go as planned, so I was only able to enjoy the bunny-hop bar faggery with Kris for all of 10 minutes. He ended up hopping  nearly a foot higher then he thought he could, getting over 33″ (just under bar height). I was psyched.

The Shocking Truth Behind JellyBeans

Today I found what appeared to be a juicy pear flavored jellybean, but something was strange about it. I picked the JellyBean up, shook it around in my hands a little, gave it a light squeeze, then put it back on the table. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong, I just new that something was a bit off. I decided to put it on the table and set it aside for later.

After putting it down, I noticed that it started to sprout legs, and then a head popped out! Ahhh! The JellyBean began walking slowly across my table. I freaked out, grabbed my camera, and took a bunch of photo’s so i’d have proof.
